Posted: May 22, 2011 in Video FilesGood friends Brad and Cholee Schrandt blended their talents to the songs ‘boats, balloons and beaches‘, ‘the wind in my sails‘ and ‘highway high.’ Using DropBox, we were able to collaborate between our studios in Los Angeles and Olympia, Washington seemlessly.
Brad assisted in production by capturing the best vocal takes from Cholee, then I took the tracks over to Matt Bobb at Matchstick Music in L.A. for the final mixdown.
For the track ‘The Yeah Song’, I enlisted friends Richard Allegro and Kate Atkinson as well as my wife, Amanda to help out with the YEAH! chants. I joined in on the recording and we all had a good time…
